Step8:-Write The Cookbook

In Brief,

1. Write a cookbook.
2. We are just checking out from github an apache cookbook.
3. The apache cookbook is put inside the cookbooks directory of starter kit.

Notes,

1. Starter kit is nothing by SSL and SSH connection configuration to chef server.
2. Starter kit folder structure is self explanatory.

Step9:-Upload Cookbook

In Brief,

1. Operation Marked as 10 in system diagram.
2. Note the certificates for SSL.
3. Note the key files for SSH.

Notes,

1. Basically uploaded cookbooks.
2. Ensured that it is uploaded from the workstation instance.
3. Logged on to chef automate and ensured that the uploaded cookbook is visible.
